What is velro
velro is a non-custodial interface for tokenizing your fomo.family profile on the Pons bonding-curve protocol, deployed on Robinhood Chain. Every coin's creator fees route to the profile owner's wallet — or, optionally, to its holders. velro never holds your assets; your wallet signs every transaction.
Launching a coin
Head to Launch, paste your fomo.family handle and hit Detect. velro pulls your name, avatar and bio through the FOMO API and pre-fills the form. Set the coin name, ticker, paired asset (ETH), and tune the advanced options. When you launch, your wallet submits launchToken (or launchAndBuy if you set an initial buy) to the Pons factory. Launch fee is 0.0005 ETH plus gas.
Fees & holder sharing
Traders pay a 1.00% base trading fee, split between the protocol, buybacks and the creator. You can add an optional creator tax (up to 10%), fixed at launch. Set a creator wallet to receive fees and tax, or leave it blank to use your connected wallet. Turn on Holder fee sharing to route creator fees to holders instead — split pro-rata and claimable from each holder's profile menu. Fees accrue in the Pons escrow until claimed.
Snipe protection
To blunt bots, buys in the opening window pay a decaying snipe tax that starts near 99% and decays to zero across the first ~3 seconds. Declare your team's wallets as snipe-tax exemptions (up to 32) at launch so your own opening buys are exempt. Selling is never taxed by the snipe mechanism.
The bonding curve
Coins trade on a constant-product bonding curve. As people buy, the price rises; as they sell, it falls. When the curve fills, the coin graduates: reserves seed a Uniswap v4 pool with permanently locked liquidity. Graduation means the curve sold out — not that the coin is safe.
Risk
Launch tokens are volatile and can lose all value. Names and symbols are unverified — always confirm the contract address. Locked liquidity can never be withdrawn, and transactions may be irreversible. velro is a third-party interface; it does not endorse any coin. Not financial advice.
